I am interested in a center stand for my 2009 Vision ANNS preferably electric. In attempting to do some research here I saw a few threads most of which referred to the difficulty of installation. A few comments also eluded to potential dragging in tight turns. I did not see any reference to real conclusive final results. If I did miss a thread on this subject with the final information I am looking for I would appreciate a little direction for a newbie trying to learn to navigate this forum. My experience with larger sized machines is limited at this time and I am looking to make the transition from a 400 lbs machine to 800+ lbs with an aging body a little easier. My previous cycle had a factory center stand and it came in handy in multiple situations especially servicing and taking up less room in a crowded garage. I would like to hear from someone that has extended experience with any center stand on a machine of this size. Thank you.

There are a few center stands out there. The one from victory did have some dragging issues, the King Bagger (which you can get from Witchdoctors) does not seem to have any dragging issues. They are nice to have but I rarely use mine, kind of a pain to get the bike up onto them. The electric ones I have seen are only usable with air ride systems that more or less lower the bike onto the stand. The motors generally don’t have the torque to lift the bike onto it. For service and storage you might be better off with a wheel chock or stand.

    Hope this helps.

I greatly appreciate your reply and opinion. This is the type of information I was looking for.

I use a Wheeldock chock on my CCT it works great. They also make a ez up center stand. I would call them they are very helpful.
